Welcome to the CTS of Asheville superfund website.

The CTS of Asheville Superfund Site is an ongoing project and we are committed to working with the community, EPA, and our partners, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation and Mills Gap Road Associates, to clean-up the site.  CTS will keep you informed of our progress and share site updates here.

Prior work focused on soil treatment and investigating the extent of the problem.  The next phase of work, to be completed over the next 3-5 years, will focus on treating affected groundwater.

We will make site data, technical reports, progress updates and other information available here on a regular basis.  We will also participate in EPA community updates and events in the Asheville area.

Please be aware that dangerous conditions may exist on the site. We ask that you respect all safety boundaries and do not enter the site.
