EPA Issues Special Notice Letters to Implement the Interim Remedial Action

CTS is pleased that the EPA has signed off on an expanded cleanup strategy for the Asheville site. Responding to concerns of residents, along with additional data, CTS more than doubled the area to be addressed in this interim remedy. This plan will allow us to get to work on the primary sources of groundwater contamination at the site and offers the most permanent solution – preliminary studies show that it will remove 95 percent or more of the TCE contamination in the target area.
